In a scathing attack on Prime Minister Modi, Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, declared, "Never seen such a false PM in the country before." Addressing a gathering, she accused the BJP of spreading falsehoods in rural areas, asserting, "Modi should never become PM of India again, do something like this." Banerjee likened the PM's promises to a "gas balloon," emphasizing the need for public vigilance against deceptive electoral pledges.

Highlighting the disparity between promises and delivery, Banerjee questioned the efficacy of government schemes such as Annapurna Bhandar, alleging, "Those who talked about Annapurna Bhandar, did they give even one rupee?" She criticized BJP's electoral strategy, contrasting it with Trinamool's approach of fulfilling promises, stating, "Trinamool makes promises and fulfills them but BJP makes only false promises." Banerjee urged voters not to succumb to empty assurances, urging them to remember BJP's track record and vote accordingly.
